CURRENT MISSION I would like to experience the fluid motion of meeting people and making connections--be they spiritual or intellectual--preferably involving food of various regions ABOUT ME ee. "All about You"--three words heaving with possibility. For now I shall say that I am a girl (erm, woman I guess) curious about how people cook in the rest of the world. When I am not in school I occupy my time reading, knitting, sewing or hatching whatever adventure I can afford. Last summer I drove with a friend from Maryland to Arizona--my first experience of the desert! I work in a store that sells kitchen wares and absolutely love working/sharing ideas with customers and coworkers. I am currently studying at a small liberal arts college in the Midwest, but one day I'd love to work in a gallery or perhaps open a co-op gallery with other artists in some larger more diverse community than Appleton. I've also tickled myself with the prospect of opening a small business where food and art (music, poetry, visual) come together, but that depends on how well I can nurse my lame credit to health in this life! PHILOSOPHY Taken from Christopher Durang's brilliant play "Laughing Wild": Breathe. [I think that when you start there, an entire slew follows: just like when a person asks you "what's new?", you might initially respond "nothing" but if you wait, an entire universe of happenings unfurl] I believe I am alive to learn from others.
