About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm an artist and a nerd trying to live a life most in line with my passions and ethics, and to find joy in sharing with others. I find it easy to make new friends and my travelling experiences have taught me to be caring for strangers, as I have been treated very well by them overall. I absolutely love traveling and making new connections.
PHILOSOPHY
Rely on yourself but remember to be kind to others and accept kindness in turn! Never underestimate or devalue others in universal terms: every single person, no matter appearances, has a skill or talent that exceeds your own. Be humble, but don't cut yourself down. You can do anything if you persevere and have a loving community. <3
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been loosely hosting and being hosted by people that I have met through festivals and simply being around. I would like to get more proactive, though I unfortunately don't have a place that can have couch surfers. :(
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2009 I took a big leap of faith in a person I had gotten to know online through the Bonnaroo rideshare site and I ended up staying with his family for a period of time. It was in another country, in a city I had never been in, and I went completely alone - it was one of the most wonderful things that I have done to make me feel the positive aspects of strangers looking out for one another.
In 2013 our car was broken into in Oakland and we spent almost a week at a stranger's through couchsurfing, their kindness truly saved us!

Music, Movies, and Books
The Dark Crystal, The Labyrinth, Lost Highway, Twin Peaks, Stereolab, Chapterhouse, My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Boards of Canada, Bonobo, Blockhead, Doom, Madlib, J Dilla, Radiohead, Burzum, and a bunch of other random stuff. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once was brought to an abandoned gold mine up in the northern Rocky Mountains and explored it with friends that I had met from two separate festivals by torch. It was such an eerie and absolutely inspiring place.
