About Me

I’m Priyanshu — a part-time traveler and full-time explorer of people, cultures, and ideas. I’m currently pursuing my B.Sc in Physics & Mathematics and will graduate in 2025, but learning for me has always been beyond university walls — through travel, books, conversations, and curiosity.
I love connecting with people from different backgrounds and hearing stories that I would never get from Google or a textbook. I believe strangers can become teachers, friends, or sometimes the best travel memories.
I occasionally work as a travel guide in India, especially for solo travelers and backpackers who want to explore local places, culture, and food beyond the tourist layer. I also host people whenever possible — sometimes at my family home and sometimes in a rented room — because I enjoy exchanging ideas, helping travelers, and making their journey easier.
I’m open-minded in the true sense: curious, respectful, and willing to understand new perspectives without judgment. I enjoy conversations about culture, philosophy, travel, spirituality, languages, and even the absurd parts of life.
Habits & lifestyle side of me:
— I stay active and enjoy fitness, hiking, walking, and exploring cities on foot
— I read self-improvement and philosophy books
— I’m learning Spanish & Chinese (slowly but passionately)
— I like to observe people and places deeply
— I like silence as much as I like deep conversations
I’m not religious in a strict sense, but I do have a spiritual side; Buddhism and Eastern philosophy inspire me a lot.
I believe life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away — and travel gives many such moments.
Couchsurfing for me is not about free accommodation — it’s about cultural exchange, kindness without transaction, and the joy of discovering that the world is not as big or divided as we think.
If you need travel help in India, local tips, guidance, or company for exploring, feel free to ask — I genuinely enjoy helping travelers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped strangers while volunteering, guided travelers in new cities, and hosted people from different places.
The most amazing part isn’t a place — it’s the feeling of belonging with strangers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English & Hindi fluently, learning Spanish and Chinese slowly.
I can share stories about India, travel tips, local culture, places, and history.
I love learning new languages, new perspectives, and new ways of living.
I believe everyone has something to teach and something to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, honesty, respect, small cultural exchange, stories from India, and sweet memories. I also love helping with travel planning or exploring local places together.
