Our actual goal is to discover Mexico for 4 months and hopefully share and live with mexicans.

ABOUT ME

We are a french couple travelling since June 2014 with our guitars. We travelled in Canada and worked there before staying 3 months in an indian reserve and living out of time. Now we are in Mexico to make a beautiful trip through the amazing nature and her beautiful people. We would love to learn spanish with mexicans and also discover the ancestral culture. We want to be active in Mexico and not to be just tourists. We want to help people through ONGs or whatever as much as we can do. We like to see new places and much more live a real adventure!
Mathieu started travelling in 2009 by 2 years staying in Malta and then he visited a few countries and kept in mind to discover the world. Marianne started travelling last year after a few years working in a shop. We are easygoing, always up to do something interesting! We like the nature, walking, playing, cooking, sharing music, learning about passionate people and do useful things.
We like to talk (Marianne is learning english and spanish at the moment and Mathieuhas a good level of english but needs to learn spanish, We got a few basis in spanish but we need to pratice a lot. Everyday is getting better..). We also love to chill out ^^

Our goal is to travel and discover new places, local food, news minds, new ways to live, new cultures and especially to discover people. We are open minded and we believe in the humanity. There is many ways to Share: share the time, the food, the good moments of life, the music (we travel with our guitars). We can talk about everything, travel, political issues, sport, art, human beings etc... etc... etc...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mathieu had the pleasure to host people when he was living in Malta. It is a very touristic place. Then he used couchsurfing a few times has a surfer and it was always a great experience. Marianne did her first couchsurfing experience and she loved it as we met very good people there.

We hope to host surfers as soon as we will be back in France.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had 4 experiences as a surfer in Turkey, France, Hong Kong and Canada, each time was a beautiful experience! Big thanks to u guys!

Intereses

Interested in music and all kinds of art, travels, nature, people in general, indigenous peoples, strong spirits, history, environment issues, political issues of all over the world, injustice, we keep our eyes open!

Música, películas y libros

We like lots of kinds of music. Latin music (especially Manu Chao ^^), salsa, rumba, flamenco. We like when there is good vibes :-) like gipsy punk (Gogol Bordello), jazz (Miles Davis yeahhh), blues, rock old and alternative (like The Doors / Janis Joplin / les Têtes Raides / la Rue Kétanou) etc..., reggae, etc... etc... etc...

Algo increíble que he hecho

When I was in Istanbul, I managed to get 2 concert tickets from Manu Chao directly for Ece the turkish girl who was hosting me and I. So we went to the concert for free and we made an after party with Manu Chao and the band till very very very late in the night. It was my best experience in couchsurfing!! What an adventure! It happened many times again after that because i'm such a lucky guy :-)
