About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live for today, plan for the future

ABOUT ME

I am fun and think I'm funnier than I probably am. I have some great friends who I don't get to see as much as I should. I'm a new dermatologist in San Diego.

PHILOSOPHY

Live like you're dying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a lot of people over the years, mostly in Pittsburgh. I hunkered down for 3 years of dermatology residency before moving here in August. I am active in a lot of Meetups here and have a cadre of awesome friends here in San Diego.

I promise my response rate will improve. I got on some nonsense list in Dallas and couldn't handle all of the messages.

Interests

Food, wine, basketball, football, science. But most of all- interesting, funny, sexy people.
Like most CSers, I'm all about the experience and love doing anything a little unusual.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge fan of Modest Mouse, Louis Armstrong, Bloc Party, Josh Ritter, Fiona Apple, and anything that can be karaoke'd. The Sword in the Stone (yes the Disney movie) was my #1 inspiration growing up. Guests are expected to sing along if we ever were to watch this (shouldn't come to that).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw an iceberg fall over Niagara falls once. Oh and I guarded LeBron James once back in Y2K. Cared for leprosy patients in India. Mmm more recently I filed a patent on something very very cool (shhh).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a really good cook and will happily learn or teach some kitchen skills. If you're a cyclist, please teach me how to fix bikes!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A gregarious fat cat, a clean place, a comfy couch or bed, walkability to the beach, and some grilling.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, India, Italy, Kuwait, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
