About Me

Hi, nice to meet you. I am Qiao Jing, a Chinese graduate student living in Essen now. You can call me by my English name, Altman.

Well...I'm not that good at introducing myself, but I'll try :)
I am a little bit shy person, but being really open-minded and I enjoy to communicate with friends. I desire to share all my stories with my friends and also be happy to listen to your life stories.

Here is a quote that I really believe in:
"A contented mind is the greatest blessing a man can enjoy in this world."

I hope you wouldn't feel I'm a boring person after reading my profile ;) and maybe be interested in being my friend!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason why I am on Couchsurfing is that I'm looking forward to meeting diffrent people, sharing a period of my life with them. You know, it's a hard thing to being a foreigner in foreign countries especially when you are without friends to talk with.

And I plan to have a trip with Emily, one of my best friends studying in Finland now, we plan to travel around France, Italy, Netherlands and Greece this summer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lol, there is once chance that I went biking and cycled for 700 kilometers around Qinghai Lake, a greatly beautiful place located in China. The trip lasted for nearly a week until I felt exhausted. I have to say, it's really amazing!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't "Teach" things, but what I can do is communicating with you on some issues that we both have interests in. Maybe music, maybe movies, anything is okay.

Now I'm studying in Economy and Financial analysis. Also I'm trying my best to grab some German in my spare time.

I love History. And perhaps it's a good idea to choose a topic referring to some historical knowledge when talking with me ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Maybe some daily expression in Chinese~
