HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to host and show anyone interested what there is to see around here in Adelaide :) all my family live around me too, near the centre of town, and we all live a pretty relaxing life... the people who I host usually follow me when I spend time with them and even occasionally get their clothes washed by my mum...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far hosted two surfers, both were really great guys that I'd go out of my way to see again :) ---OK now the list is much bigger!---

I've also had a great time with some surfers who I stayed with in Valence, in France... beautiful place

Interests

Eating, drinking, cooking, working and building (making things / climbing trees is fun, I like physical work), learning other languages, creative things like drawing and music, next I want to learn to restore furniture. I enjoy a bit of Dungeons and Dragons and tabletop wargames but I never seem to play them anymore. Going to the beach, surfing a bit, skiing..!!! Also I like dancing

Riding motorbikes. There is something special about it, not going fast, just comfortably rolling along, taking in the countryside. I imagine it not unlike travelling by horse back in the day... :)

Nature, eco kind of stuff esp. to do with energy efficient construction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding a motorbike around Ardeche in the south of France... while listening to every Led Zeppelin on repeat on repeat.

Hiking in the Himalayas

And hiking in Turkey :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can speak OK French, and can understand Scandinavian languages (no point in speaking them ;), can do a few odd jobs, and can rig up a harness to climb a tree if that somehow interests you :) I can play OK guitar, I can do some different dances too
