About Me

Hi there! I'm a friendly and caring person who’s always smiling. I’m passionate about photography, traveling, reading, and sharing meaningful moments with others.

I'm also very open-minded and love connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I believe that every interaction is a chance to learn something new and become a better version of myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love the journey, I want to make friends from all over the world. My hope is that every traveler can have the chance to truly immerse themselves in the beauty of Vietnam through local experiences, cultural exchange, and genuine connections with locals—like me!

I began traveling in 2010, and it opened my eyes to how amazing it is to meet people outside of my comfort zone and to discover places I had never seen before. When I tried Couchsurfing for the first time, I realized there are so many unique and meaningful ways to connect with people around the world—for free and in a more personal way.

Since 2024, I’ve also wanted to give my children and the children in my neighborhood a chance to connect with foreigners—to help them become more confident, learn English, and develop life skills through hosting.

If you're a traveler looking for a deeper connection and a truly local experience, staying with us could be a wonderful choice. At my home, we can enjoy outdoor activities, cook together, share stories, explore the local lifestyle, swim in the sea during summertime, and spend time with lots of curious, joyful kids. It's a beautiful way to exchange cultures and create meaningful memories together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2010 I went on a tour to Phú Quốc Island with my friends, and I absolutely loved it! The island is incredibly beautiful and the people are so friendly. I felt at ease, connecting with nature and immersing myself in the peaceful surroundings. I also made some great friends with the locals and truly enjoyed every moment of the trip.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live with my wife and two children in Quang Dong Commune, Quang Binh. I enjoy the peaceful atmosphere here, with no pollution, a cozy house, and friendly neighbors. Before moving here, I lived in Ho Chi Minh City, then relocated for work and eventually settled down.

I never stop exploring—whether it’s through traveling, reading books, attending events in the city, taking online courses, or engaging in investment activities. One of the reasons I enjoy hosting Couchsurfers is to meet people from around the world and help them during their travels in Vietnam. I have a guest room in my new house and prefer to host guests on weekends so we can spend more time together.

I am excited to communicate with foreigners, improve my family’s English, and share the many wonders of Vietnam, from our culture and food to the friendly people.
