I grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and lived there my whole life! In June 2017 I graduated with a BSc in neuroscience and decided I wanted to try something new so I moved to France in September 2017 and took a post as an english teaching assistant. I worked in France for the year and absolutely loved it! It's has given me the opportunity to improve my french, travel, experience different cultures and meet countless amazing people along the way.

Now I am back home in Canada studying in medical school! I love being outdoors; at home in Canada I spend my summers hiking and sailing as much as possible. I also love cooking, animals and meeting new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing so that when I travel I can see a city from a local perspective and meet people who actually live there! I'm often a solo traveller so it's nice to be able to have that social interaction.
