Ironically I feel the world is too judgemental...but I know it is partly how our brains work and survive as humans.

I strive to be as understanding as I can be of others and hope for the same in return.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in compassion and sharing. I don't buy into the idea that couchsurfing is a place only for a certain 'type' of person or traveller. I find that to be a bit judgemental and exclusive rather than inclusive.

People may need or want to use couchsurfing at various times in their lives for different reasons and in different ways along the way, and I am welcome to any of those- whether that's engaging with each other, or just a safe shared space where we dont engage depending on each others current needs. I think to expect a sufer or host to fulfil some need or tick box is missing the point.

At times in your life you may be open to exchanges of conversation and culture. At others you just need some space to yourself while passing through a place. Why not keep our doors open to help each other out no matter the situation

I have only surfed once via my friends account but perhaps will use this more in future
