Hello! My name is Rachelle (Ra-shell), and I recently moved to Germany with my boyfriend, Eric, for two new jobs and one amazing opportunity. We're hoping to see as much of the country and Europe as possible during our time here (Summer 2019 - Summer 2020), and to meet a lot of fun, interesting people along the way.

Some of my interests:
Learning new things, burritos, yoga, taking pictures of beautiful things, Obama, meeting new people, wine, music concerts/festivals, nature, my hammock

Some of my partners interests:
Playing the guitar and music in general, yoga, sushi, meditation, writing, meeting new people, rock climbing, hiking

We're also both certified to teach English as a foreign language, and we hope to move to Southeast Asia after our year here to do so. Sky's the limit, and we're honestly just craving new experiences far from a place we've always called home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m new to Couchsurfing but completely in love with the idea: a large community of strangers who want to share time and/or space, who are willing to do something nice for someone because they want to, not because they need to.

Best way to travel, in my opinion, is to learn how the locals do it. I like seeing and going to places that are special to someone, and that have a story behind it. I want my experiences around the world to be curated by people who love where they live, and who are open to good conversation.

Since my partner and I are technically nomads right now, we can’t offer up a space for others. But, I look forward to opening my home to friendly folk in the future!
