COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have just hosted my first couch surfers for 2 days. It is surprising how much people have in common particularly if they travel alot.

The most amazing thing I have done was to travel to Nepal and trekked the infamous Annapurna Circuit. Awesome experience and certainly took me out of my comfort zone. Met some very nice people in my trekking group and also got to appreciate the poverty of the Nepalese people and how much human labour is still prevalent in the society for transporting goods and food to remote areas of the country. Hard to believe that a computer and equpments had been transported to 18000ft above sea level so we trekkers could make contact with the outside world. Very humbling.
