About Me
Well, you know, I can say many things about me, but I just don't know how to describe everything. I guess I was another person few years ago, when I used to live in my country, Italy. Then, I decided that something had to change, I bought a backpack and tried to make my life interesting, which I did for sure. I am a dreamer, I'd like to see this world different, because too many things go wrong, but I still love the beautiful things that I experience everyday, that's why I want to know as much as possible from all the people that I meet. World is made of people and we are all different, that is what makes world beautiful. I'm living in Sydney at the moment, studying, but I still consider myself a traveller, because it's what I really want to do, travel
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to get the chance to know new people, learning new things, socialize
Interests
Well, I guess my first love is music. I go to bed listening to music, I wake up listening to music and, in the middle, I listen to music. I play guitar and I sing, and you could see me dancing or doing air guitar while I am just walking, obviously listening to music.
I am trying to learn about photography, it's a wonderful field, very hard though.
I'm going to start soon a bachelor in digital design, I love being creative and this is something where I could find a good opportunity of work mixed with creativity

Music, Movies, and Books
Well, no doubt about my favourite band, Iron Maiden. I've seen them 11 times in three different continents, the more they grew up the more they're great. The great thing about them is that they don't live about their great past, they always look forward, they're constantly evolving their music and get new fans
I guess the movie that really inspired me is Into the wild, love the way he decided to live, it's really meaningful.
I love X files and anything related to aliens, actually I watched Alien 3 for the first time when I was 5 and I couldn't sleep, but I'm too fascinated about aliens, I think we are not alone.
Stephen King is great. It's exciting how he creates connections between all his books, especially all of them have details that you can relate to the Dark Tower. My favourite is probably The Talisman, this little guy that makes this trip across States to save his mother, fighting monsters coming from another world.
Dan Brown, Ken Follett, Tolkien are others great writers
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life is amazing in everything that happens, even if it's not a big thing. I remember when I flew to Brazil, I was meant to arrive to Rio at 1 am and I didn't have any accommodation. So, you know, Brazil is not really safe. On the plane, there was this Brazilian girl sitting next to me and when she knew that I had no accommodation, she invited me to her place. Well, you can think this is not a great thing, but to me it was amazing, because there are not many people that would do something like that, invite a perfect stranger to their place. So, his father was waiting for her at the airport and she asked him if I could go to their apartment. He just said: "Mel, what you want to do, you can do". Great
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to be positive. Life is a big game, a great adventure, and we are here to play. So, let's have fun and don't take it too seriously, we are meant to be happy. I can do this by sharing my experience, telling you about what I've done and the people that I've met. Plus, obviously, I want to learn from you, whatever you have to teach.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If I am not busy with work or studying, we can explore places together or just going to the pub and having some beers. So, just relax. I am very friendly so no problem to do things together. If you want your independence though, I'll respect your space
