About Me

I like to describe myself as a dreamer, a citizen of the world, a free spirit and a minimalist. I spent 24 years of my life in Coimbatore and Chennai (South India), 2 years in Shillong (North East India), 3.5 years in Kolkata (East India). In addition, I have spent some time in other parts of South India, North East India, Mumbai (West India) and Bangladesh. Hoping to explore more of the world in times to come!

A fortunate soul to have been born in this era of global connectivity, I live on the internet most of my active hours (experiencing and immersing in its wonders). I love to meet new people, broaden my horizons, have deep one-on-one conversations, learn, think about and discuss any topic under the sun- including but not limited to travel, current affairs, movies, books, politics, history, societal issues, psychology, behavioural sciences and philosophy.

Some random facts:
- I use a bunch of my favourite quotes that I love to live by, as wallpapers on my laptop.
- I re-read my favourite books and re-watch my favourite movies multiple times on impulse.

Note for guests / surfers:
I am ok with last minute requests. In fact I prefer requests sent a couple of days to few hours in advance over requests sent well in advance :) If you are sending me a couch request, please read about my home in my profile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To experience LIFE to the maximum. I believe that the best things in life are free. I also believe that the concept of nationhood as we know it is falling apart. Borders are mere imaginary lines to perpetuate imaginary differences. CS is an amazing community and the way I get to witness humanity in all its glory here is truly phenomenal. This may seem counter-intuitive, but meeting people from different cultures has helped me to see less of the differences and more of the similarities. I am here to share a bit of hospitality and a lot of humanity with my fellow citizens of the world, enriching myself and the community in the process.
