Overview
About Me
My name is Danish and it's very interesting to experience when different nationality people pronounce my name in unique ways. I was born, raised and mostly educated in Pakistan. These days I work in the domain of AI and had a graduate masters degree from University of Washington. I started my traveling journey in US with homestay where a local family hosted me. I grew up in a very modest family background and hardly got a chance to travel while studying, but I knew once I'll have the liberty I am gonna travel the world and that's exactly what I am enroute to.
I also got the opportunity to stay in one of the best hotels even in US, and everything (from bus stop bench to 5-stars hotels) works fine for me. Even though I can go for some decent renting options, but I made a mission of connecting with new people to push myself out of comfort zone.
During my stay in US I never missed an opportunity to connect with new people of all races, religions, caste and also did Couchsurfing few times.
I can't wait to meet new people who are as eager to make new connection as me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to socialize and make new friends, especially I am more interested in knowing different cultures and life styles. I never missed any opportunity of making new connections whether its uber ride, bus stop, queue of some shopping center, or any other social event.
I was bit pessimistic when I tried Couchsurfing first time but ended up having wonderful time of my life. Everywhere I stayed, I was dealt with great respect, hospitality, amazing accommodation and life long bonds.
Currently I am in Pakistan where Couchsurfing isn't popular due to lesser tourism influx but I am carrying on my mission to host people. So if you are in Pakistan, you have a place to stay and it won't be because of the fact that you hosted me but my enthusiasm about traveling and socializing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was kind of shy and introverted person before going to US. After landing in US I realized that everyone here has different background, culture, language, life style. That gave me the confidence to shift the top gears to enjoy life at its fullest. Since then I made so many friends around the world, visited so many places, done a lot of activities which I never did before. In the same pursuit, I traveled to place not highly recommended and ended up having best times of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a curious, learning, polite and adapting personality. I like to learn about other cultures and share mine as I believe that's the beauty of globalization and traveling is the best tool for that. I would appreciate if someone share his/her experiences and stories as I consider myself good listener and observer. I served as a teacher couple of times so if it comes to it I can teach anything in my arsenal which is desired with minimal effort. i am a good story teller and I am sure you will love my stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
When I went to US, I lived with a local family for two weeks before settling into my own place. She was hosting international students for 20 years but never hosted anyone from Pakistan. She said "I decided to host someone from your country/religion this time because I wanted to learn about your culture, religion, life style". That was an opportunity for me to share my culture/life style and to make a lasting impression & memories. She and her family became very comfortable and attached to me, we traveled together, attended family dinners. Her family visited me in Pakistan in recent past which showed the strong life lasting relationship I built with them.
I visited 22 states in US, 5 countries & numerous places, and made friends from all over the world. So by visiting so many places, and meeting people, I am not only confident of sharing my culture, but well equipped with capability to adopt new environment and cultural aspects. In short you don't have to work too hard to get to know me and share your stories. I can share my experiences whether related to traveling, academics, economy, career or other lesser popular topics i.e. religion & politics.
As I have a big network spread around the world, I can act as a bridge between you and folks who can assist you at time of need. And it had happened multiple times in the past and still counting more opportunities like that.
