We're a small family (3) with a 11 years old boy.
Some keywords : epicurean, open minded, curious, looove food and wine and bbq, music and cultures, laughing, parties, listening and playing music, ... Most of all we love to share !
Our son Antonin likes to play, to laugh, to talk, to taste food. He's easy-going. He likes music, videogames (Zelda!), comics, Warrior cats...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Most of time hosting, cooking, talking, sharing our humble life experience, talking about local history (or any other intersting subject coming up), living nice moments, drinking iced beers with hosts when warm weather, warm wine if cold :-)
For us, travelling is mainly meeting different peoples, cultures, local and personal histories, ways of life...
We prefer to take time to live a piece of "local life", and not to check a "to see" list . So, even if we like to visit sites during the day, we often favour quality time and exchanges, and for that, if we have to spend a day cooking, speaking, eating, laughing, having drinks, playing music or games, that's totally OK!
It will be the same if we host you, within our agenda limits, we'll try to be availables to allow this kind of real encounters.
When beeing hosted, we obviously contribute to not be a burden. And maybe if you let us the kitchen/ the BBQ, we should cook something not so bad* !
*Depending on the local supplies availables, within the limits of the chef's knoweledge !

Lots and lots... Musics, cooking, sharing a meal, meet people, laugh, good wine, parties, history, art, nature, simple moments, reading, policies, woodworking, handiwork, fishing, gardenning, renovating our house (looong project...)...
Raphaël speaking : Cooking (and tasting!) is very important to me. I spent lot of time cooking traditional french food, BBQing, making delicatessen,... so I have a few skills now, that I'll be happy to share if you're interested in.
