I am Raphael Racor, from Brazil, São Paulo, currently living in Lisbon.
I am a professional musician, also advertiser but only living by the music. I like to meet new cities and discover spots to play my songs, most of them Bossa nova, samba or my own compositions and versions of famous songs.

I believe I am a friendly person, very intuitive and nice with people. I consider myself as a person who respect persons and places a lot, knowing my ground and being nice with things around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to visit cities and travel around playing my music. It opens to me a new vision of my work and inspires me to keep doing it and composing new songs.

To be a busker consists in never knowing how much money you will earn, or if you will have public, but believe and do your best as an artist.

So couchsurfing is a good way to make contact with people that support this cause or just have some affinity with this and they know it helps a lot, and of course I can offer some knowledge about music, free shows, jam, and some good talk.

Interests

My life is all around music. I play the guitar every day and make my living with this as a player and singer. My work and hobby is music. I also enjoy wine, food (no catchup, etc), beers, bicycle, walking, movies, cinema festivals such as tiff, canes, sundance, etc.

I love jazz, 80's, 90's, brazilian popular music, rock, classic music.
One of my favorite movies is Forrest gump, and one of my favorite books is Catcher in the rye.

I quit my job in 2013 to begin my enterprise. I quit my enterprise to make music, which is my passion.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to teach, learn and share with people things about music, I always got something to say about music, curiosities about music and artists, I like to incentivate people to begin to play some instrument because I believe that life is better with music.

Music, could be something to share with hosts, I play the guitar and sing. My main style is bossa nova and brazilian music, I am also a composer. I can share things about my life, I could share things about communication and advertising as well.
