I believe in the power of relationships. I think that the most amazing experiences traveling were due to the people I was with rather than the things I saw. I believe that the best way to know a place is to interact with locals.

Intereses

I love to relax but also keep active. There are days when I can be content just sitting on the porch and reading a good book. Other times I am a thrill seeker and like to go rock climbing, etc.

Algo increíble que he hecho

1. Living in Morocco with a host family. I was amazed by the bonds that I formed with my host family, especially my host mom. Because I did not speak Arabic fluently, we would often just sing to each other and make gestures to communicate.
2. Traveling to the waterfalls in Morocco. Everything was so serene and open. I have rarely felt that peaceful.
3. Living in Cuba as an American. It was amazing to see how life was so different there.
4. Teaching English in Chile. It was a very rewarding experience!
