Overview
About Me
After working at a summer camp in the USA as a university student, then doing a trip around many national parks in western USA, I decided I want to see more of the world.
I have since graduated from university, backpacked in Thailand and Japan, had a working holiday in Australia, returned to summer camp in the USA, and cycled around Europe for three months.
I taught English in Japan for three years (2014-2017), cycled the length of Japan, around Scotland for three weeks 2018, and did a bike trip from Canada to Panama in 2018/19!
I have recently moved back to Japan to teach English again, now living in Kitasenju area of Tokyo. I also lived in Amagasaki, Hyogo before.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to travel is to meet locals who live in and know the area.
I was hosted by many people when cycling around Europe, and I then hosted many people in Japan.
Interests
Sports, especially football (soccer) and Gaelic Football. Travelling, usually by bicycle. Hiking.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've cycled toured in many places around the world. 8 counties in Europe. The length of Japan. Canada to Panama.
I played Gaelic Football for the Japan team at the Asian Gaelic Games in Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach. I've worked as a football coach and spent two summers working at a summer camp in the USA, and taught English in Japan for three years.
