I am Renaldas. I am from Lithuania. Right now, I’m trying to find a balance between work and having time for myself. I believe people nowadays work too much, leaving less and less time to enjoy life. There are many opportunities around the world; we just have to allow ourselves to seize them. Everything happens at the right moment. It sounds like a cliché, but I've started to believe in it, and it's been working quite well for me so far. While in Slovenia, I fell in love with the nature and mountains. I enjoy being in nature, but I also appreciate city life. I like to experience a bit of everything.

I am amazed by the idea of Couchsurfing, which allows you to meet different yet similar people from different countries.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I lived in the Netherlands for 8 months.
I hitchhiked across Europe for two weeks.
I had a close call in Slovakia, where I almost got killed.
I moved to Slovenia to volunteer as a Europe Solidarity Corps member for one year, and then I extended my stay for one more year because I fell in love with this beautiful country and its warm people.
I went surfing in the Canary Islands.
I’ve been awarded for a scholarship for European joint master's studies, which means next year I'll begin a two-year journey of studying in four different European
countries.
