About Me
BACK IN HERE and ready to start moving again :)
I used to use CS a lot while I was a young volunteer travelling the world by myseld. Now I feel that I should pay back to the universe all the love, adventure and warm showers the CS community gave me when I needed it the most.
So feel free to hit me up and stay in my couch (or guest room) everytime you visit Chaves or the North of Portugal!
OLD TEXT but can't really erase it :)
Internacional volunteer, environmental eduction.
I'm degreed in Aplied Ecology and trying to find my first job in the field. Meanwhile i'm working in my epic novel that i hope will make me rich and free to travel the world full time :D
I'm travelling around Europe on volunteering projects and setting the basis to create my own youth NGO.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a volunteer outside my country I'm up to meet the most possible diverse people from all cultures in the world and learn all I can about all the different realities in the world.
I also understand and share the need for selfless help between everyone, as to create a more tolerant, open-minded background in this ever more superficial society. Every traveller is welcome under my roof! :)
P.S. from future Renato, yes, I did indeed create my own NGO about environmental education and mobility programs for youth with less opportunities... and it's going great!

Drive all my way from south Finland to Nordkapp, the northernmost point in Norway and Europe, facing the Arctic Sea.
Worked in Finland and south Spain with refugees, using non-formal education and outdoor activities as a tool for integration of minorities in European society.
Hitchiked through the Baltic countries.
Founded my own NGO to work with volunteering projects and give other youth in town the chance to travel and particiapate.
