Hi there! ✨

We’re Nihan and Rene, a couple who believe that life is all about experiences, meeting new people, and seeing the world through different perspectives. Traveling has been a big part of our journey together. We love exploring new places, wandering around and picking up bits and pieces of different languages along the way. We prefer keeping in touch with locals while traveling. There’s something magical about stepping into a new culture, sharing a meal with strangers, and leaving as friends.

We’re pretty easygoing and always up for a good time whether it’s deep conversations, discovering hidden spots in a city, or just enjoying the moment with good company. We don’t drink alcohol, but that never stops us from having fun! Movies are a big part of our lives (mubi fans), and so is cooking. We’re vegetarians, but that doesn’t mean we shy away from trying new flavors. René eats meat occasionally. We love experimenting with different cuisines and learning about local food cultures.

At the end of the day, we’re just two curious souls looking to connect, share stories, and make beautiful memories with like-minded people. If our paths cross, let’s cook a meal together, explore the city, go for a hike in nature, or just hang out and talk about life.

We both speak English, and while Rene can teach you some Dutch, I can help with Turkish. We also know a bit of Spanish just enough to have some fun conversations! One of our favorite ways to connect is through food; we love sharing and learning new recipes. We’re always curious about different languages, cultures, and flavors, so if we meet, let’s exchange ideas, cook together, and learn from each other!
