About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I teach 4th grade in Lawrence, MA, just outside of Boston. It's a huge hub of immigrants from the DR and PR, which is the kind of work I hope to be doing for the next several years at least.

ABOUT ME

Spent three years teaching niños at a bilingual school in Honduras before heading back Stateside to try teaching here.

PHILOSOPHY

Listen to everyone, be skeptical of everything, eat apples and carrots.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Lived in a couch-surfing house for two years and traveled around Mexico for two summers and some parts of the US using CS.

Interests

I love learning new things, even if I don't master them, I just like dabbling. This year I've taken stabs at learning guitar, knitting, sign language, and learning salsa and bachata, to varying degrees of success. Always love camping, hiking, biking, jogging adventuring, improving my Spanish, live music, and reading too much news (used to be a journalist)
