Hi, my name is Richard! I grew up in southern California but have moved around many times for pharmacy school/residency (San Francisco --> Montana --> South Dakota). I'm currently an ICU pharmacist at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. Now that I have a bit more time on my hands, I'm hoping to rekindle my passion for traveling and meeting new people during my adventures. I'm friendly, easy-going, accommodating, and respectful.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have returned to courchsurfing post- peak Covid (and post residency training where I had so few days off!). I am excited to have the opportunity again to travel, especially overseas, but I also realize that it's not always easy to coordinate trips with friends with varying work schedules and personal family-life and obligations. I think Couchsurfing will make traveling solo much more fun, memorable, and affordable. I also enjoy experiencing a city or country from the local’s perspective, and what better way to do this than to courchsurf with a local! I look forward to meeting you and learning more about your city/country!
