Hey! I’m Ricky. I’m a 30 year old opera singer and world traveler. I am always looking to meet new people and love to make new connections. I am a mellow guy who enjoys all types of music and anything that involves creative expression. I am a coffee junkie 😏 and love simple things like nature and hiking, outdoor exercise and holistic remedies for health and wellness. If you ask my friends, they might say I get along with most people and I tend to look for the best in everyone.

I am traveling to the U.K. in July to sing in an opera and am looking to to make some new friends and couch surf during my stay until Aug 1.

I am always traveling and discovered the best way to make lasting connections are when you are with natives of the towns and countries you travel to. I also want to have a more authentic experience than that of a tourist. I hope that in my travels, I can couch surf and meet great hosts who will show me their world and be open to learning about me too.

My philosophy is that we all have a gift to know our nature. For some, our nature is to be larger than life and do exceptionally well at most things but this notion invalidates "talent" because in my mind, practice beats talent any day. Everyday we can learn something new and we should never stop trying to increase our knowledge and understanding, especially of people and different cultures around the world.

You can have whatever you want and have great people in your life if you set your mind towards it and put in the work for it.

My love for music and creative art and expression... I’m also a great cook :) I’ve learned that the best conversations are made over coffee or a good meal. I am great at both. I also hope to share about my life, (if the host has interest) and hopefully establish new friendships. That way, I can do the same for them if they are ever couch surfing in my area.
