About Me
Hey there! I'm currently an Emergency Room doctor in NYC. I’ve lived here about 3 years now, after spending the last eight in Chicago. New York is one of my absolute favorite places - a crazy diverse international metropolis and of course the city that never sleeps. On the weekends I’m not working, you’ll usually find me checking out the food scene, chilling at a rooftop or speakeasy, or planning my next trip abroad
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of my favorite moments have been true, authentic experiences of daily life. Roaming around the Soviet classrooms at a university in Ukraine; sitting in on a German class in Turkey and somehow learning Turkish; visiting a high school in Poland; meeting traditionally dressed people from the closed off country of Turkmenistan. These experiences meant more to me than going around to all the touristy sites in a city
