About Me

I love travelling! Experiencing different cultures and places, meeting kind and interesting people, seeing what the world has to offer is what life's all about!
I love travelling to remote places that are very different to home - One of my favourite regions in the world is Central Asia with landscape that looks out of this world and a way of living completely unlike back at home. I’m also a huge nature lover and am a fan of anything involving it as long as it immerses me within it. I’m a frequent rock climbing, hiker and mountaineer.

I also have some pretty niche hobbies which involve exploring abandoned monuments and cities, climbing buildings and exploring depths of cities and its infrastructure in a way that most never get to see. I’m also a very keen photographer and have been doing so for 10 years, 4 years of analog.

I like to think that I’m open minded and enjoy long philosophical discussions and having my beliefs challenged. Always down for any kind of conversation when it’s a casual chat or a deeper talk about life and the world around us. And especially keen on conversations sharing travel stories and learning new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living with locals and interactions with local people gives a more authentic and deeper understanding of the places that I’m visiting. My attraction to couchsurfing style travelling first grew after hitchhiking across Pakistan and Tajikistan where locals in the mountains would often offer (insist) for me to stay with them, leading to unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation of local cultures, customs and people.
I also love to meet with new people, making connections all across the world, sharing stories, experiences and mindsets.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is very wide and ranges from classical to heavy metal and includes many genres in between including rock, latin American, blues, electronic, techno, hiphop, soul and more.

I used to play the cello as a kid and have been practicing guitar on and off for a few years now. I also found myself an owner of a harmonica very recently so looking forward to expanding my musical knowledge :)
