Hi!
I´m Rikst (27) from Friesland, a region in the north of the Netherlands. At the moment I live in Ocotepeque, Honduras. I am volunteering as an English teacher at a Bilingual School which is a nice interesting experience! As an all-world-lover I really get to know a foreign culture from within. Since I become part of a local community, I get to know a lot about habits, the people, the special nature spots to go to and my spanish is improving by the day!

My other interests?
Last year Spirituality got my interest, because many spiritual acts like meditating for example, makes me experience life in a different way. Outside the thinking, inside the bodily living. Breathe and observe the world!

Besides that music is a big passion for me. Especially ambient, electronic music makes me lighten up in the air. I love to dance on the deep bass and the high tunes, whilst I also since a few weeks have a Hang drum where I play with. A really meditative instrument with beautiful sounds..

I travelled 4 years ago to South America on my own and since then always, seriously always, open to meet new citicens of the world. I'm planning to stay in Honduras for 2 months, and after that traveling around central and south america.

I see myself as a very easy-going, social person with full of energy to go on adventure: whether that is on the other side of the world or in the near neighboorhoods of my home.. Let's go together and we'll go with the flow of life, crossing paths with other free spirits.

At last some random info about me: i'd love to learn spanish and portugese more, love dogs, mountains, breathing, sounds, silence and adventure.
