ABOUT ME

Hi there, my name is Lian Yi. I am a 30-years-old gal from Malaysia where people from various ethnicity shares their cultures with each other, from celebrations, belief systems, languages and most of all, food! I'd like to meet a fun loving family who loves to share their cultures too.
I speak decent English, Chinese, Cantonese,Malay and I'd love to learn new languages. I am people person, flexible, honest, out going, young at heart and funny. However though, I can be shy at times. Most probably I'd say the first few days. Then when I get used to the surroundings, I am all set again!

Interests

I like going out to movies or karaoke with my friends. I love art but I can't draw very well. I like adventures as I like camping, hiking, and doing any outdoor activities. As adventurous as I sound, sometimes I too like to stay in and read a good book. I like to dance, as I'm also a dancer. So far, I've been doing ballet, modern, cha-cha, Chinese traditional and folk, contemporary. But it doesn't just stop there as I'm always open for a new challenge.

Music, Movies, and Books

Haha...my range of movies, music and books are quite wide. One of my favourite movie recently is Mao's last dancer. I really enjoy reading, my favourite writer are Dan Brown and Stephen King.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I brought only AUD$500 to Melbourne and planned to traval around for a year in Australia, and this insane dream came true. Moreover, i afforded my parents to have their vacation in Perth for 9 days.

Teach, Learn, Share

I spent most of my lifetime on stage. If you are interested on that, I would like to share my dance experience.
