I am an Indian, staying in Uruguay for the past 3.5 years. I love traveling a lot and visiting new places and knowing about it's history and culture. I am very talkative and that is why I love socialising and meeting new people. Very fond of animals too. I equally love playing football and play twice a week after office. I recently got introduced to the PICKLEBALL game and I try to play every weekend. You will know more about me when we meet in person. I am an easy going guy and sometimes just love to chill at home in my own company by cooking something and watching some shows on tv.

PHILOSOPHY

I just live thinking each day as an opportunity and to enjoy life.. To stay in touch with friends and always share experiences and happy moments. Also it is very important to understand that when you visit someone's place - appreciate their gesture that they are inviting you into their space with an open heart and love so never complain even if you see something which is not nice or not clean as you are staying for free. So always learn to appreciate it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a member since many years now and got opportunities to host guests from different parts of the world and had nice experiences!! That inspired me to take up more of these experiences to learn about cross-cultures when you meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience - When in India, I hosted a couple from Singapore who were visiting PUNE specially for trekking and I hosted them for 3 days and it was a nice experience showing them around!! And that's how I kept on hosting more people and started having a good time and worth the experience.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In Oct 2018, I trekked the world's 3rd Highest mountain KANCHENJUNGA Base Camp which is on the border of India and Nepal. It is at 5,140 to 5,143 meters (16,864 to 16,873 feet).

I have visited the 5 Wonders of the world, i.e. Taj Mahal (India), Machu pichu (Peru 2023), Christ the redeemer (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 2023), Chichen Itza (Mexico 2023), Pyramids (Egypt 2024).

I have visited 2 Natural wonders of the world -
Table Mountain (Cape Town, South Africa 2016) and Iguazu falls (argentina 2024).

I am part of the Guinness Book of World Records for participating in the 'Largest Backward Race' hosted in Mumbai, India (May 2017) with a crowd of 1007 people.

December 2025, I went to PUERTO RICO for my 40th birthday and to spend the CHRISTMAS and did the world's brightest bioluminescent bay in VIEQUES ISLAND. Also did the WORLD'S 2ND LONGEST ZIPLINE (TORRO VERDE) even though I am scared of heights. Did the cave tubing tour too.

Did my first live drawing of a naked live girl model in Santiago, Chile (2026) and it was such a beautiful learning experience.

I love River Rafting. Done several times in Rishikesh, India in the Ganga river and also, in Cajon del Maipo, Chile in freezing waters (March 2026).

Did my first Himalayan Trek in Oct 2015 to 'Roopkund' and on the last day, we trekked for 32 kms in the mountains as we got lost. But, it was an amazing experience in the end when we reached the base.

In Dec 2016, completed another Himalayan Trek called 'KedarKantha' at 12000 ft and stayed in -5 degrees.

Visited India's most haunted fort 'Bhangarh' in Rajasthan.

Climbed Gujarat's (India) highest point GIRNAR mountain in Dec 2018 which has 10,000 steps in 3 hours. Amazing experience.

In Feb 2023, visited RIO DE JANEIRO (BRAZIL) for the world famous carnival and also CHRIST THE REDEEMER which is one of the 7 wonders of the world. Amazing experience experiencing both.

In December 2023, I visited BUENOS AIRES (capital of ARGENTINA) and then to USHUAIA, the southernmost city of the world to celebrate my birthday and to the penguins island near Antarctica and to the IGUAZU FALLS (biggest falls in the world).

Teach: I will teach my Indian language and maybe Indian food if you are up for it. I will also appreciate and like if you can teach some words from your language as it is so cool 😎

Learn: We always learn from everyone so I would always like to learn new things from everyone with an open mind and also, I love learning different languages so I will be happy to learn your language or few words. Also, about different cultures and their history so I always love listening to it.

Share: I love to share about my Indian culture and its vast history. Also, I can show my currency collection that I recently started collecting from different countries. So I wouldn't mind if anyone wants to give me their currencies for my collection :) Plus I also learnt how to make body tattoos so I can do it for you for free as a friendly gesture :)
