About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To continue my adventure whilst plotting my next tech business..
ABOUT ME
My friends would definitely say I'm one of a kind, an eccentric. I'm very spontaneous and adventurous - the sort of person who when faced with three options on a Saturday night will usually attempt all three, even if they are hundreds of miles apart. I've lived an interesting life so far with lots of funny stories as a result - ask me how I made the Queen laugh, bought a car with the Pope's cash or threw the most bad-taste party ever attempted. My work is very rock & roll, I work on big concerts all over the world. In fact I'm more rock & roll than most rock stars who are often rather boring! Strong morals and keeping your world are crucial to me - if I offer something it will often be better than I've said. I also love to help people - I will look after you & your friends very well if you visit. Stamina is my secret weapon, I get going as others fall asleep. I'm definitely a binary creature - either on or off - at breakneck speed or very chilled. There is always DJ equipment, funny accessories & fancy dress in my luggage, I've got plenty of things to keep everyone entertained. My sense of humour knows no limits but I am also unfailingly polite. I hate religion, reality TV, football or meat - I'm up for almost anything else!
I'm always looking for good swaps - the
restored cottage in my pictures is at the bottom of my garden and has had some amazing & funny swaps. People have stayed there by offering a stained glass window, Charleston dance lessons, live music and even a sword-fighting display! There are another 4 rooms in the house, plenty of room for all your best friends and lots of fun things to do. Within minutes you can be in pretty local towns, mountains, lakes, wilderness and seaside. And if you want, I'll show you all of it!
PHILOSOPHY
I try to cram in as much experiences as possible, without hurting anyone else.
As the keyboardist in Spinal Tap says "Have a good time, all of the time!"
It works for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I woke up on a couch last weekend surrounded by musical instruments which was perfect. I remember me and a couple of mates once took the sofa with us to a beach in Norway, it was tricky to get it home on public transport but we managed. Another time we took a couch to Frenchtek, I'm pretty sure it was the only couch among 25,000 ravers!
Most of all I like meeting new people and cultures, if you're open-minded we'll get on.
Whilst I'm happy to host, cook and show you around - it's always appreciated when surfers give something back. Treat me as you would like to be treated in your home.
Interests
I love good music, travelling, extreme adventures, conversations and current affairs. I like meeting new people & am good at staying in touch with the interesting ones. Most of all I love partying, either putting them on, playing at them or having a good time in the crowd. I am often the instigator of a wild ride - but I'm just as happy to get involved with your crazy plans. I like the countryside but I also like being in a crowd of thousands. My weekends are always eventful and never finish on Sundays! In the summer I'm at a festival most weekends (ask if you'd like to go to one) - I have more time in the winter or in summer weekdays.

Music, Movies, and Books
Way too many to mention here. In my house you'd find plenty of Led Zeppelin, hard techno, jungle, metal, soul and chill-out music - this is what makes me a very eclectic DJ! There's also plenty of interesting biographies, maps, curiosities and stacks of films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My entire life has been amazing really, I had an alternative upbringing and now I very much live for the moment.
With my work I've seen the world (50+ countries) and got to work on some pretty amazing events with remarkable people.
I have done some good things along the way but suspect the best is yet to come.
If I told you I'd made The Queen laugh, bought a car with the Pope's cash or worked at the biggest concert ever you probably wouldn't believe me - visit and I'll prove it!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn new things, try anything once and generally do my best for visitors. There's always something that needs to be done around the place so helpful people are especially welcome!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Really good vegan cooking.
A cool pub and a hot tub
A Welsh lesson
Music - I write songs and DJ
Lots of crazy but true stories
My cat Chick Pea
A lifetime of local knowledge, countryside and the best people
.. and plenty of jokes
