I am from Santa Barbara, California, USA. I grew up in a small town enjoying the outdoors, playing with animals, and being a nerd for anything engineering-related.

During Fall 2022, I studied abroad in Lucerne, Switzerland for my final semester and fell in love with traveling. I am traveling around Europe for the next few months and am trying to learn about the world as I meet people and see new places.

I am a spontaneous and flexible traveler, even though in my home life I am very organized and scheduled. I love to eat, cook, and bake; my favorite way to experience a culture is through the food.

I enjoy hiking, and exploring the outdoors. I will take any opportunity I get to pet animals; I grew up with horses, sheep, cats, bunnies, ducks, and chickens. Unfortunately I don’t have any pets of my own anymore since I just finished college and don’t have a long-term house yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling becomes much more meaningful when I get to meet people who are local to the area so I can see the country through their eyes. I am on Couchsurfing to meet locals and learn more about each place I go to.

My family has hosted Couchsurfers and while growing up, and I enjoyed meeting people from around the world. I’m currently traveling around Europe and looking for places to stay, people to meet, and new food to eat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I earned my pilots license about 2 years ago and love getting the opportunity to fly small planes. Getting to explore the world by flying is the most freeing feeling.

I’m not a perfect cook but I love food and always appreciate a chance to show my gratitude by cooking someone a meal.
