I am a 29 years old electric-engineer who loves to travel. I was born in a small city in Minas Gerais state, then I moved to Belo Horizonte (capital of MG) to study at 15. Then, after working for 3 years in northeast Brazil (João Pessoa), last year I decided to quit my job and jump in a 1-year-travel in Asia. After 1 year traveling, I was back to my hometown, living with my father again after almost 15 years. It was a nice experience and a good time to find out my next plans. I'm still trying to find them ahahahah but for the next 1,5 year (2018-2019), I am living in Auckland for Master studies in Energy. I will try to travel as much as possible while here in NZ and take this time to figure out my next steps after this master! Meanwhile, I wanna help some surfers as I was helped so many times during my 1 year trip in Asia.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Last year, 2015, I have done the best adventure of my life: 1year traveling around the world. And many of my best memories were with couchsurfers. It was a amazing opportunity to meet amazing people, see places not touristic and make good friends! Now it's my time to open my house for other travelers!
Music, Movies, and Books
I am very eclectic, but my favorite music styles are rock, pop, "samba de raiz", "MPB", country music, reggae. So it depends of my humor. And about movies, I really like to watch movies, go to the cinema, watch at home, internet. It's hard to say about favorite movies, so as music and books. Last greats books I have read: Wild, "O grande mentecapto" from Brazilian writer Fernando Sabino. Good ones!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Kitesurfing! Snorkeling with whale sharks in their natural habitat! Climbing a volcano (or 2)! Dive with sharks!
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn different languages, culture, culinary and habits with people around there world. I can teach and share my culture and language with my hosts. Try to Help with some math/physic/engineering class.
My Interests
I am very interested on nature, sports, literature, movies and music. As I grew up in mountain region, I like to hike in mountains, look for waterfalls, camping. But I also like the beach! Since I was a baby to my 15 years, at least once a year I went to beach with my parents and for the last two years I was living in a seaside town. My favorite sport is soccer. But now I have just learnt kitesurf and I really enjoy it.
