Hi there! My name is Rohit and I'm excited to be a part of the Couchsurfing community. I work as a management consultant for McKinsey, which means I spend a lot of time helping companies solve complex problems. When I'm not working, I love to travel and learn about cultures from around the world.

As a host, I enjoy sharing my knowledge of Chicago and showing guests around. Whether it's trying out local cuisine, visiting historical landmarks, or checking out the nightlife, I'm always up for an adventure. I also understand the importance of personal space and respect boundaries, so you can expect a comfortable and relaxed stay at my place.

As a traveler, I appreciate the opportunity to immerse myself in different cultures and connect with locals. I believe that traveling is not just about seeing new places, but also about making meaningful connections and learning from people who have different perspectives and experiences. I'm always looking for new destinations to explore and new friends to meet along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel solo ,get out of the comfort zone, go on adventure, meet new people, hear new stories etc. and therefore am very keen to meet up with/stay with locals whilst abroad, to experience the true side of every country, city and town.It is a very nice way to travel and get in touch with different cultures, stories, people.

I have had a few Couchsurfing experiences, each of which have been fantastic!! The people I have met have definitely made some of the cities/towns I have visited - I am excited to share more experiences and make more friends!

Interests

I love watching movies especially Nolan, Tarantino and Guy Ritchie's.I admire Roger Federer,Christian Bale and Elon Musk.Travelling,hiking,swimming and theatre are my other interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learnt different dance forms which includes Tango,salsa,House and Capoeira while my stay in Dubai.House being my favorite.
Went for hike on a mountain in Philippines along with Filipino friends I met in Manila.
