About Me

Winemaker/Plant-based/Hand-balance/Bouldering and Rock-climbing /Hiking/Yoga

Friendly, easy-going. Recently completed my final year of a winemaking and viticulture degree.

Very outdoorsy, always looking for new walks and hikes to accomplish. I love camping and am looking for people to do day adventured with! Beginner rock-climber, always up for a climb!

I love seeing what the human body is capable of, this passion has lead me to trying calisthenics, dancing, joining the circus, bouldering, yoga, skateboarding, surfing, acroyoga and acrobatics!

I'm at advocate for learning and attempting to being up to date with what's happening around the world, whether its science, politics, health, environment or technology.

Trained in winemaking and viticulture, but looking to explore our food systems and ways to better the way we feed the world

Mainly looking for people to explore and get into nature with, send me a line!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always love meeting people from other countries and talking about everyday life: traffic, prices of coffee, people, weather and food. It's just always interesting hearing how different people live throughout the globe. This is why I love the idea of couch surfing so much, it's a way to live in another country for a few days at a time and see how the people of that country spend their time.

Interests

Learning languages- I'm hoping to pick up the foundations in a variety of languages! One day i'd like to become fluent in at least 3 languages

Cooking and eating great foods, generally in that order. Would be more than happy to cook with people-whether I'm teaching or learning. Cooking and eating is the best way to bring people together.

Wine- it goes hand in hand with food and I'd really like to try wines outside of Australia!

Acroyoga, handstands and yoga! Seeing what the human body can do!

Outdoors: I'm always in for anything outdoors. I love going for walks, hikes, camping, rock-climbing and bouldering. I would also love to explore new indoor rock climbing venues!

I don't have much rhythm, but I do love to go out for a good dance. I've had one or two salsa lessons on my life jaja

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mt. Kinabalu in Borneo when I was 16 with friends from highschool as a team expedition, one of the coolest things I've done to date. Then also with four of those friends a few years later, traveled SE Asia for 9-weeks!

Student exchange program- Living in Beijing for 6 months was an incredible experience. It was my fist real opportunity to live outside of home and it's really boosted my interest in living abroad again.

Camping in Kazakhstan
Driving the Pamir Highway in Tajikistan

Teach, Learn, Share

I love talking, I love listening and I love sharing. For me, sitting down with new people and sharing experiences is one of the most nourishing things we can do. Learning about other people's lives and how we differ, what I can take back home to change my own for the better, its the greatest gift!

I can cook and I love it. I've always loved cooking since I was young and just have a big appreciation for food in general.

I can offer you long conversations about anything! Learning is my favourite hobby and from that, I love to read about just about everything. I'm interested in the environment, science, philosophy, music, health, languages, innovation, start-ups, travel

What I Can Share with Hosts

As mentioned, I really love cooking and am more than happy to cook and clean!
Am mostly interested in learning about new cultures and understanding life in different places, so would love to spend time walking around with the host.
