About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Fighting Crohn's disease to reintegrate with life..and have as much fun as possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm me basically. I wouldn't consider myself 'unique', if only because I think it's an overrated term and used mostly by people who aren't but think it's a good thing. I consider myself a 'rare occurence' which is probably a better description. The past 17 years of my life have been shaped by a heavy case of Crohn's disease, which basically has kept me confined to one square km of my town, Leiden, for over 10 years. For the past 8 years I have been slowly improving my health, and trying to extend my range further and further away..
PHILOSOPHY
Have as much fun as possible without hurting anyone. 'nuff said.
Please, only, 'official' couchsurf requests will be considered due to some weird experiences through the messaging system. Please use the blue 'request' button. NO LAST MINUTES! I have no smartphone, so any request for the day itself or the day after will not be processed quickly enough. The vast majority of last-minute requests won't show up (or will even reply to anything) so any last minute request is an automatic 'no'.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In my life people have helped me, and so I want to host couchsurfers because it is something I can give back to all of humanity, even if it's such a little gesture. (hey, it's a fun gesture, at least)
I want to travel further and further away from my hometown, first by bicycle and moped and later on by motorcycle.
