We love to host people in our home. We live in a wonderful community of people. Rory is a tranformational coach and consultant, interested in personal transformation and spiritual awareness. Mathew is a family doc with specialties in family practice and geriatrics, and a professional musician.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We are airbnb hosts now, and open up to couch surfers when we have openings. We've used CS to meet local people when we travel, and we spread the word about CS! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We have hosted many people from around the world and for various lengths of time on our 'couches'. Our record is 16 people in a fiddle band who all had beds in our home.
Music, Movies, and Books
Mathew: history, Orson Scott Card and fictional history books, music: contra dance music, swing jazz. Rory: colin firth version of Pride and Prejudice (seen it 100 times at least), books: Ekhardt Tolle, mysteries, books on neuropsychology, English literature, magical fiction like Isabel Allende..Music: world music, almost anything but hard core rap.

Rory has been a student and teacher of personal transformation for 25 years and loves to teach, learn and share this interest. Want to learn more about sustainable animal husbandry, especially interested in cheese making and artisan cheese marketing.
My Interests
Mat is a great musician: plays almost everything, but specializes in American, Irish and English fiddle. He also plays rock, swing jazz and is learning classical fiddle. Rory loves to dance: swing, salsa, zydeco, contra..She loves making art: painting, crafts, and is fascinated by cheese making. Both enjoy traveling and gardening.
