About Me

I eat, I sleep, I read, I travel

I am addicted to travel but it's an addiction I am not willing to give up. It was encouraged by my dear late father, who used to tell me, when I was still about 5 years old, that I should study to get a good job to have money to travel... It is the one piece of advice that always kept ringing in my mind.

And now, I travel to grow. To get to know and appreciate new cultures and different ideas and perspectives, widening my horizons.

When I travel I get pleasure in interacting with people, seeing how they live, sharing their everyday life if at all possible. I also love food and look forward to trying local delicacies, art, culture and history - the older the better.

To know more about me, and what hosts and guests think of me, there are my references.

* Although I have hosted, and will continue to host, young surfers, people closer to my age will be given preference.

* If you want to go out at night, please find another host.

* I believe it is common courtesy to leave a review. If you cannot be bothered, please do not ask to be hosted.

* One night is a hassle, two nights are acceptable, three ideal, four may be fine if we get along. Do NOT send requests more than a month before the visit is due. They will be declined without explanation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, share experiences, and learn about a country through its people, be they born there or adopted by the country or city.

Since I first wrote my profile many years ago, I have been both host and guest quite a bit and nearly all of my experiences were very positive. I have kept in touch with quite a few people, travelled with some of them, and became really good friends with a few. Couchsurfing has been overall such a rewarding experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel is the most amazing thing, and I do it as much as I can. It keeps life interesting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that everyone can teach me something and I look forward to learn from hosts and travellers. I try to share some of my spare time with fellow travellers who happen to grace my country with their presence.
