ABOUT ME

Rose- I am an elementary school teacher. I have lived in South Korea for two years teaching English to middle school students. I enjoy any activity that is outdoors, scuba diving, sports, and sometimes extreme sports like canyoning, zip lining, and white water rafting. My hobby is traveling and experiencing different cultures. I believe experiencing different cultures makes you a more well rounded person, and especially teacher.

We looked forward to scuba diving in Italy, Spain, France and Greece.

Anthony- I have lived in South Korea with Rose for 2 years. I taught elementary school students. I am a graphic designer and hope to find a job in the gaming industry in the near future.

PHILOSOPHY

Experience is essential to developing as an individual. We live our lives with an open mind, willingness to experience new things, and overcome challenges.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently my fiance and I are traveling, and when we are not we are living with family members at the moment. We are hoping to absorb culture and meet great people while couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Anthony and I have never couch surfed before. We are new at this, and it is our first time. Couch surfing was recommended by a few friends.

Rose- I have lived with a family before in Costa Rica and it was the absolute best experience of my life. The family was extremely kind and the lady was a chef! Such a true way to experience the lifestyle of a particular country.

Anthony and I would love to teach and talk about North American culture (since we are Canadian). We can also share out countless experiences with different Asian cultures since we lived and traveled around Asia for two years.

We'd love to experience and learn about different cultures and way of life. We hope to one day teach English in Europe. We are both Italian and know the Italian culture well, but European culture in Canada and Europe I'm sure are very different. I (rose) also hold a dual citizenship. I have a Canadian and Italian passport, so I am part of the EU and have a good understanding of the Italian language.
