Haha I do find it somewhat challenging to talk about myself... mainly because I don't find it very interesting to discuss myself! I prefer to listen to others and find out about their stories.

OK, I'll do my best to condense myself into a few paragraphs... here goes:

My favourite quote probably sums up my attitude towards life:

The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.”
― Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie. This is my favourite book. Another favourite book of mine is Dead Man Walking by Sister Helen Prejean, and these books pretty much contain my value system and principles between their pages.

What brings me purpose and meaning is spending quality time with my family, socialising with positive, authentic people, creating ( be that writing or crafting or anything creative) and discovering different ideas. I like to travel. I was in Shanghai recently, and was also in Los Angeles, Jordan and Cuba in the years before.

I also love movies. Favourite movies often involve Gene Kelly or Rita Hayworth, but I love Blade Runner too and it's hard to pinpoint my favourite genre. Oh, Ghost is another one of my favourite movies, and The Breakfast Club.
