I’m Rozie from Yakutsk, Siberia — the coldest city in the world! (Yes, –60°C is real 😄)

I’ve been living outside Russia for the last 10 years, mostly on beautiful islands where I worked as a scuba diving instructor. I’ve traveled to 80 countries, and I can’t imagine my life without meeting new people, exploring new cultures, dancing, and cooking traditional Russian food wherever I go.

I love good conversations over coffee, and I always have a story or two from the road to share ☕🌍

I started using Couchsurfing in August 2013 while traveling across South America. Over the past 10 years, I’ve lived in 12 different countries and love meeting locals — talking about culture, history, politics, and everyday life is the best way to really understand a place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve had was volunteering at the El Cruce Saucony marathon in Patagonia. We camped in tents, cheered on runners, and immersed ourselves in the breathtaking landscapes of the Andes. It was a mix of adventure, camaraderie, and nature — truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! 😄
