About Me

23 years old photographer, traveler, and software engineer

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always traveled solo or with friends and never got the chance to live with/befriend the locals. Everyday, we/I would book accommodation in hostels, eat with other travelers, travel with those same travelers, then KO back at our accommodation after going sightseeing and having fun. I'd like to do more in the places that I travel to by connecting more to the locals and learning about their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything that matches my current mood. Classical, EDM, Pop, Hip-Hop, House, Rock, C-Pop, etc.

Movies: Thrillers, Drama, Action/Adventure. Any movie with a great, interesting story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to the top of Mt. Merapi in Indonesia at 2am. The entire hike took 8 hours (4.5 hours up, 3.5 hours down) and we climbed to an altitude of 3km. The view at the top was truly breathtaking; we were greeted with a warming sunrise, a sea of clouds rolling off the volcano below us, and a view of several more volcanoes in the distance. It was my first time attempting a tough hike like this, and there were many times when I wanted to give up and climb back down the volcano, but it was 100% worth it.
