Once in my youth, during a student trip to the mountains,

And finding myself on a half-flooded island, in the middle of a stormy river, I looked back at the shore.
And there was no one who could appreciate my feat.
Then I thought about the nature of the feat and the concept of hype.
So important for people today and always...
I found a small stone on this island as a reminder of this act.
And I keep it to this day.

Как то в юности, во время студенческой поездки в горы,
Был ураган и когда все сидели в своих вагончиках, я отправился бродить под ливнем и ветром, пешком, преодолел в брод очень бурную реку, течение которой унесло не мало жизней.
И оказавшись на полузатопленом острове, посреди бурной реки, я оглянулся на берег.
и не было никого кто бы мог оценить мой подвиг.
Тогда я задумался о природе подвига и понятия хайпа.
Столь важных для людей сегодня и всегда...
Я нашел на этом острове маленький камень, как напоминание об этом поступке.
И храню его до сих пор.
Ни для кого.
