I am hosting with my husband Auðun (his profile https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000685317). We are open-minded and respectful long term married couple from Iceland. Above all we love traveling, meeting new people, getting to know new places and cultures. 

We easily get along with people and consider us to be very social. While studying in University we were active in buddy—system and hosted exchange students and helped them to adjust in Iceland.

We like to be close to the nature and when in Iceland we try to go every now and then to isolated hot springs in to relax and unwind. We love animals, especially dogs and cats and other cute furry creatures. 

We only live once so why not try to get the most out of it and try new things. Our desires to expand and grow as human beings and see more of the world lead us sell all our stuff, build our own van and hit the road in June 2018. After two years on the road, covid arrived with a bang and put a stop to our vanlife adventures. So now, back in Iceland where we have a spare room and would love to meet new people, learn about your culture and share travel stories and advice, maybe we could inspire you to give vanlife a try 😉
