Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, though several places around the world bring the word "home" to mind. Traveling and experiencing other cultures has been such an integral part of my development as an adult and Couchsurfing has definitely had a big role in starting some of that.

For awhile, I would spend several months living in a new state/country before finding somewhere else to hangout for a bit. It's been a few years of stability now which is forcing me to realize that maybe I just travel more often for shorter periods instead of uprooting everything every few months. And that's okay too!

I'm a writer & photographer but usually pay my bills through the service industry. Also a huge film nerd. I watch a ton, manage a movie theater, and have made a few features of my own.

Looking to meet more people from all over the world and share knowledge, stories, and definitely meals.

I love CouchSurfing because it allows me to connect with people that I may have missed out on. With social media and the internet, it's entirely too easy to get stuck in certain social bubbles. It seems more important than ever to force ourselves to see other perspectives and what better way to do that than sharing your home with a traveling stranger?

I once got to hangout with the watchguard of some off-the-grid ruins in Egypt. Smoked him up, brought him the meat of half a baby camel, and was able to get a tour into some tombs & pyramids rarely seen. Later that night, I got into a knife fight on a burlesque showboat on the Nile. It was certainly a day.

I'm not super great at cooking, but I love making breakfast and would be happy to make some for you! Also def down to provide beer, booze, snacks. I always clean up after myself and don't mind helping out around the house with anything else you may need a hand with.
