As a host, I'm looking for the rarest type of couchsurfer. I'm looking for the weirdo couchsurfer-samurai who actually READS the host profile completely before submitting a request.

About me: Actually, you will get to know a lot about you if we have a chance to meet, I'm a highly intuitive man, I read and feel people very well, I pick up upon peoples energy and mood instantly.

Now being pragmatical, I'm very blunt and stoic. I love to socialize, but my social battery dies out fairly quickly. I like solitude and quiteness, if I feel like and have the time, I will hang out, show you around, share conversations, but ideally you are a very much independent person and also enjoy the silence.

My daily routine includes work, taking care of my children, walking my dogs, low key iron man cycling trainings, riding unicycle, beaches, people watching, meditation, and reading.

I'm very reliable and kill for people who are chosen to belong to my inner family circle. Virgo, so loyalty and honesty(often times brutal one) is one my strongest traits and possibly also my biggest flaw as I come too strong and not easy to handle by many people. I expect the same from people I allow to get close to me: honesty. I'm very open to life/ people, extremely trustful in my intuition. I can let people in my life in a drop of a hat. But try to take advantage of me or exploit this openess that always requires naïveté and you will be cast into oblivion, no mar do esquecimento faster than you were allowed in. Forgive, but not forget.

People full of themselves bore me to death. If you re able to have the same personality around different people from different backgrounds and don't change who you are to please or look down on someone based on money,status,race,etc, you play on my team.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A fellow cs who was crossing the Americas by bicycle, back in 2009 wrote me about this ``social media to get to know gringos``. I first started hosting to improve my English, then I got addicted to it. I can't imagine my life without so many amazing people I met and experiences shared.

I'm on couchsurfing because life can become dull and predictable, my line of work requires lots of creativity. So I'm on couchsurfing to connect, share, hear stories and bring to my home the freshness and positive vibrations of a traveler's spirit. While I can't travel much due to my commitments, couchsurfing is a good way to getting to know other cultures and travelling without leaving your hometown.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly into hard rock,heavy,death and thrash metal, it calms down my adhd brain,extreme fast tempo beat really makes me feel relaxed. But I go along with many other types of music from classical to folk songs, 80's hits. Books,mostly psychology related right now. Movies, anything that gives me shivers or makes me smile.
