Thrill seeker of sorts. I love to laugh, I crack a lot of jokes, my sense of humor is more along the lines of the British and their commonwealths. I curse a lot but I promise I'm friendly. I enjoy some beer, and/or a fine wine to unwind. I will do anything I can if it means helping someone else. I am very sarcastic. I'll probably be singing along to some music 75% of the time you see me. If I get upset, I stop getting upset and get happy instead.
I'm pretty much down to do anything as long as it probably won't kill me, and even then, I'll give it a whirl.
Laugh at yourself and at life. Not in the spirit of derision or whining self-pity, but as a remedy, a miracle drug, that will ease your pain, cure your depression, and help you to put in perspective that seemingly terrible defeat and worry with laughter at your predicaments, thus freeing your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come. Never take yourself too seriously. Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.
Sooner or later we all discover that the important moments in life are not the advertised ones, not the birthdays, the graduations, the weddings, not the great goals achieved. The real milestones are less prepossessing. They come to the door of memory unannounced, stray dogs that amble in, sniff around a bit and simply never leave. Our lives are measured by these.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are so often caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the journey, especially the goodness of the people we meet on the way. Appreciation is a wonderful feeling, don't overlook it.
Surfing: I am probably the easiest guest in the world. I can figure out my way to your place, and I have loved every one of my hosts. I absolutely love the positivity and love from each host I have. I'm personable so I'l talk, I like to sing even if I'm horrible at it. The only thing that makes me difficult is that I don't know exactly when or exactly where I will be going.
Hosting: I've hosted over 60 people when I lived in Orlando and I have loved every one of my guests! Such great memories and I can't wait to be able to host again!
I surfed several hosts throughout Europe, one in Mexico and have hosted many in Orlando. It has been a blast and I love all the different cultures that come through my house,
I am an older soul with a thirst for adventure and abnormally comfortable stepping outside my comfort zone. I have the travel bug, I like to scuba dive longboard, relax at the dog park, go to the springs, wakeboard, go boating, go to the beach, fish, swim... I'm basically a true Floridian. Anything with the ocean or being in the sun and beautiful outdoors!
