About Me

( description not updated since 2014 :) )

CURRENT MISSION

After four month on the west coast, searching for new projects to spend time outdoor this winter :)

ABOUT ME

I love to travel, I love to bike, so i travel on my bike most of the time. I am cycling about 10 000km per year.

I am seriously planning a round the world trip, i already began in 2006 when i bike across canada. I would like to bike europe and asia, but i am open to hitchhiking.

Two years ago I bougth my first sailboat , and a second one few month later. During the last year I worked hard to get the boat (and myself) ready to sail on the Atlantic. During the last summer I sail between 1000 and 1500 miles on the saint Lawrence and in the gulf of saint lawrence to gain experience on salt water.

Travel Maps

I really like maps, and for thoses who also like them i've made one of all the place that i have camp,

Also i detailed my travels in thoses maps :
Bike-trips (about 130 days of travel)
Sail (about 40 days of travel + i lived on my boat for more that 6 months)
Road-Trips (about 50 days of travel)

PHILOSOPHY

«Goodbye to things that bore me.
Life is waiting for me
i see a see horizon, my Life has only began
Behond the blue horizon lies a rising sun» there be no dragoon, how to cross a big ocean on a small sailboat.

« The world is in the hands of those who have the courage to dream and to run the risk of living their dreams. » Paulo Coelho

« Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved. » William Jennings Bryan

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well i bike across Canada, 7200km in two month, from Tofino BC to Halifax NS during summer 2006. And I am getting my boat and I ready to sail on the Atlantic to Europe to continue my cycling trip around the world

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are traveling on a bike, alaways have a spare tire and at least 2 or 3 tubes, a working pump, chain links, chain breaker, tools to change a cable, and tools to change brakes pads , and few extra bolts of each size, oh also duct tape, electrical tape, zip-tie, rope , few litters of water, rain proof clothes, gaz for your stove, FOOD !!! , EXTRA FOOD , and extra tools to fix your tools when they'll broke , AND THRUST ME ... they will!

Don't be scared, enjoy your ride !

And remember, if you bike in Quebec, cars drivers don't care about you! and they don't stop at pedestrian crossing

Enjoy, there is millions of kilometers of road to bike !
