ABOUT ME

I am a french who had to leave Paris to pursue his career as a laser designer in the Silicon valley. Well it was not really a choice at first but when you work in the high-tech with a very specialized profile, this is part of the game to relocate. I am moderately social in the sense that I enjoy small group rather than big group of people, but I am easy going in general (except when I am bored then I tend to loose patience). I am interested in meeting nice people through CS, people that have diversified interests and experiences to share. People with whom I can spend some good time here in San Francisco and California and that they can remember for the rest of their life.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't mess with what you are not suited for, enjoy life without damaging too much the planet, look for flavored things and experiences in life. Be polite social and courteous but don't sacrifice yourself in doing so. Make sure you don't do things just to follow the herd but because you truly enjoy them. Don't let a god or a Guru drive your life. Pleasure is not bad as long it doesn't damage your brain or your body or hurt someone else

I am interested to receive surfers at my place here in Sausalito

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Received one traveler a few days and was a nice experience.

But I have little to no patience for people who contact you at the last minute then don’t follow up when you accept their request, not having the politeness to inform you that they have another option. Unfortunately it is more frequent than one would think.

Also I don’t accept request for people who want to save the cost of an hotel room because they have a job interview in my area.

Too many interest to describe them here, but it includes, Sailing, windsurfing, Recumbent biking, Good wines, Cooking, traveling, Salsa dancing, spending time with cool people who have some experience to share about their life. I am very interested in sciences, history, civilizations.
