Overview
About Me
First of all, I accept only FEMALE guests for staying.
We are a married couple living in a modern apartment in Osaka Uehommachi. Our home is quiet, clean, and conveniently located with easy access to Namba, Tennoji, and Osaka Castle.
We offer a traditional Japanese-style room (washitsu) with a semi-double mattress, suitable for up to two guests. Solo travelers or pairs are welcome, but we do not host male-only guests (only female guests are OK).
We enjoy meeting new people from around the world and sharing tips about Osaka, food spots, and hidden gems nearby. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay in a safe, relaxed home—feel free to reach out!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really really love traveling around the world and get to know how people live in the places. So I want to meet local guests through CS!
And also, I want to support travelers who come to Japan. Accommodation in Tokyo is quite expensive so I can share my place. I’m really looking forward to hear the stories of other travelers journey!

Teach, Learn, Share
I love cooking, so we can make Japanese meals together!
I’ve studied soil science when I was a bachelor and master degree student. So I can teach you the characteristics of Japanese soil.
Other things that I can share: Good restaurants and pubs in Osaka, tennis, Japanese flower arrangements, skiing
My husband is originally from Osaka and knows a lot about Kansai culture, food, and local history. If the timing works out, he might even be able to show you around the city.
